Morning starts with the smell of fresh msemen rising from the kitchen. Breakfast stretches as long as you want it to. Then the city — souks, museums, hammams, rooftop cafés — or not. Some guests spend the whole day inside the riad and feel they have been somewhere.
In the evening, dinner is served on the rooftop or in the courtyard, depending on the season. A tagine, a salad, something sweet. By the time you climb back to your room, the bed has been turned down, the lanterns are lit, and the Medina has gone quiet. That is a day at Dar Coram.
